LIBRARY CARDS

Library cards are issued free of charge for Montcalm County residents (with the exception of Evergreen and Sidney townships.)

To apply for a library card you need proof of identification and proof of residence.
ADULT (18+): Valid Drivers License or Michigan ID with current address are REQUIRED.
JUVENILE (6yrs -18yrs): A Parent or Legal Guardian needs to provide their Driver's License or Michigan ID with current address and sign responsibility for the account. Juvenile must be present to sign registration card and library card.

Patrons must present their library card to check out materials and place holds. Replacement fee for a lost or stolen card is $3.00

RENEWALS

Materials may be renewed one time.* Renew items in person, over the phone, or online (please have library card number ready).

*An item on hold for another patron may not be renewed.

INTERLOAN

Library Items currently checked out may be placed on hold by all patrons. Resident members may place holds for materials not at the Flat River Community Library.

DAMAGED ITEMS

Please alert staff to any damaged items. DO NOT try to repair material.

DROP BOX

An after hours drop box is located on the south wall of the building (near the staff parking area).

MEMORIAL BOOKS

Patrons who wish to a have a book purchased in someone's memory or honor may make a donation to the library for the purchase of book(s) on a requested topic. The selected book will include a plate containing the name of the person the book was purchased for as well as the name of the donor.

COPY SERVICES

Copy Machine: 15¢/page (Black and White only)

Internet/Word Processing Copies:
25¢/page for Black and White
75¢/page for Color

Microfilm Copies: 25¢/page (Black and White only)

No Fax Service
